SportSouth has picked up the Hawks game at the Celtics on Jan. 14. The game was originally scheduled to be broadcast by ESPN. However, the network switched and will now air the Hawks game versus the Nets on Jan. 28.

The time for the Hawks-Celtics matchup will remain 8 p.m.

“Recent Hawks telecast ratings and game attendance has sent a clear message that Atlanta basketball fans passionately want to see the NBA’s hottest team,” said Jeff Genthner, senior vice president and general manager of FOX Sports South in a statement. “By adding this key Eastern Conference match-up to our telecast schedule, SportSouth is pleased to serve the rapidly growing Hawks fan following.”

The only remaining Hawks game that is not scheduled to be televised is the March 16 contest at the Kings.
