Marcus Georges-Hunt is getting another chance in the NBA. The former Georgia Tech guard has signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to a report from The Vertical Tuesday. Georges-Hunt will attend training camp as the Timberwolves have 11 players with guaranteed contracts.

Georges-Hunt spent most of last season playing for the Maine Red Claws in the NBA G League. He was named a league All-Star and to the G League All-Third Team. Georges-Hunt briefly played for the Magic last season as he appeared in five games and averaged 2.8 points and 1.8 rebounds in 9.6 minutes. Georges-Hunt also signed a 10-day contract with the Heat but did not appear in a game. He was waived by the Magic in July after playing the Orlando Summer League.

Georges-Hunt, from College Park and North Clayton High, played four years at Georgia Tech. He appeared in 130 games and averaged 13.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
