Notre Dame senior guard Jerian Grant will take part in a pre-draft workout for the Atlanta Hawks.
The 6-foot-5 Grant appeared in 36 games last season and averaged 16.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 6.6 assists in 36.8 minutes per game.
The Hawks have held four pre-draft workouts and have three more scheduled. Each workout consists of handful of draft eligible players. A group that includes Arkansas forward Bobby Portis will work out Friday. The Hawks, as a matter of team policy, do not announce players who will work out for the team.
Of local interest, Georgia State’s R.J. Hunter does not plan to work out for the Hawks.
The NBA draft is next Thursday. The Hawks hold three selections, one first-rounder at 15 and two second-rounders at 50 and 59.
