Training camp begins in less than two weeks, but the Hawks are already hard at work. All of the team’s 17 players who are on the roster, with one exception, are in Atlanta taking part in voluntary workouts.

Dennis Schroder has not yet arrived in town after playing for the German national team in the EuroBasket 2015 tournament. Germany did not advance out of pool play in the tournament.

The Hawks have 14 players under contract for next season and veteran Jason Richardson on non-guaranteed deal and 2014 second-round pick Lamar Patterson and undrafted free agent Terran Petteway on partially guaranteed deals.

Training camp officially opens with media day Sept. 28. The team will spend the next three days on the campus of the University of Georgia.
