The polls are open.

Balloting for the 2015 NBA All-Star game began Thursday with fan voting to select the starters for the exhibition to be played in New York. For the first time, the ballot includes every player and fans will select two guards and three frontcourt players.

Balloting is open through Jan. 19. Starters will be announced during a special on TNT on Jan. 22. Reserves for the game will be announced at a later date.

Fans can vote in several ways:

* The ballot is available, in 11 languages, at www.nba.com/asb. Fans can complete one ballot each day.

* Via Twitter with fans allowed to tweet a vote throughout the balloting period. The tweet, retweet, or reply must include the player’s first and last name along with hash tag #NBABallot.

* Via Facebook with fans allowed to post a status from their personal accounts. The posts must include the player’s first and last name along with hash tag #NBABallot.

* Via Instagram with fans allowed to post an original photo using #NBABallot and the player’s first and last name in the photo caption.

* Via SMS with fans allowed to text the player’s last name to 6-9-6-2-2 (MYNBA) on any wireless device.

* Via NBA Game Time application.

Voting via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and text message can include 10 unique players each day.

The Knicks and Nets will co-host the All-Star week activities between Madison Square Garden and Barclays Center. The All-Star game will be played Feb. 15 at MSG.
