Paul Millsap rejoined the Hawks Monday and will play in tonight’s game against the Nuggets.

The Hawks’ leading scorer missed Saturday’s game at the Suns to attend the funeral of his grandfather. He arrived in Denver Sunday night and took part in Monday morning’s shootaround.

“After three days, it’s difficult to come back (in the Denver altitude),” Millsap said.

“I’ll go out there and put my best foot forward and hopefully win this game.”

Millsap said he watched the Hawks last-second loss to the Suns and called the defeat “disappointing.” He credited the fight the Hawks showed in overcoming a 15-point deficit.
