Kobe Bryant left the Los Angeles Lakers' preseason game early Tuesday night.
The official reason was a leg contusion, or a bruise, but he actually left the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas to visit former teammate Lamar Odom, Fox Sports reported.

Odom was found at a Nevada brothel unconscious earlier Tuesday.
Bryant is not the only big name to visit Odom as he fights for his life.
Mitch Kupchack, the Lakers' general manager, also went to the Las Vegas hospital, Fox Sports reported.
Other NBA players have gone to social media to express their sympathy over the situation.
Odom's former wife Khloe Kardashian is also by his side according to media reports.
Odom, according to Dennis Hof, the brothel's owner, was taking "herbal Viagra," NBC News reported.
No illegal drugs were found in Odom's room, Hof told NBC News.
He had checked into the brothel Saturday, was found unconscious Tuesday afternoon local time.
