Dwight Howard will not play against the Knicks Monday after the Hawks made a late change to their starting lineup.

Howard will be rested as the Hawks play the second of afternoon back-to-back games.

The Hawks added Tim Hardaway Jr. to the starting lineup to be grouped with Dennis Schroder, Kent Bazemore, Thabo Sefolosha and Paul Millsap.

The Hawks may have chosen to use a small lineup as the Knicks were without Kristaps Prozingis (sore left Achilles) and Lance Thomas (fractured orbital).

Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer was non-committal prior to the game when asked whether any players would be rested or have minute limitations.
