* The Hawks were outrebounded 54-37. Hassan Whiteside had 13 rebounds, including five offensive boards.

* The Heat had lost four straight at Philips Arena.

* Thabo Sefolosha, out of the starting lineup in favor of Bazemore, played just 9:24.

* Dennis Schroder was the only Hawks player to not finish with a minus total – and he was even zero.

* The Heat made one less 3-pointer than the Hawks, 8-7, while taking 17 less attempts, 33-17.

* The Hawks (14-12) have fallen to 10th in the Eastern Conference but are just three games out of the top spot.

Quote of the game

“It’s a test of each of us individually. It’s a test of us collectively. Can we put anything negative behind you and go to the next possession? That’s what good teams, that’s what good players (do).” – Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer on recent losses

Report card

Offense: D

The Hawks had another woeful shooting night. They shot 39.3 percent (33 of 84) from the field. Take away Bazemore and the team was 22 of 66. The 3-point shooting was abysmal. As coach and players said after the game, the poor offense is putting too much pressure of the defense.

Defense: C

Not much cause for celebration here either. The Heat shot 45 percent from the field. Letting Gerald Green score 20 points off the bench was a concern. The Heat got 50 points and 32 rebounds for their front court.
