The Hawks will be without Taurean Prince for at least three weeks after the starting small forward suffered a left ankle injury Monday.

Prince underwent an MRI exam on Tuesday that revealed a ligament sprain, bone bruise and soft tissue inflammation, according to the team. He will be re-evaluated in approximately three weeks.

Prince was injured in the fourth quarter of the Hawks’ 128-111 home loss to the Warriors.

Prince has appeared in 21 games, including 20 starts, this season with averages of 15.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals.

The Hawks play eight games in the three-week timeline before Prince is re-evaluated. Kent Bazemore is likely to return to the starting lineup in place of Prince.
