The Hawks continue to work out players in an attempt to add to their training camp roster.

Former Lakers forward Ryan Kelly (Duke), former Grizzlies guard Xavier Munford (Rhode Island) and guard Dionte Christmas (Temple) recently worked out for the Hawks. Richard Solomon (California) is scheduled to work out this week. The Hawks have worked out many other players.

The team opens camp with media day on Sept. 26 followed by three days at the University of Georgia.

The Hawks already have 16 guaranteed contracts for 15 roster spots. Still, they would like to add a point guard and a front line player to the camp roster. The Hawks were in talks with guard Bryce Cotton, who played well for the team’s entry in the Las Vegas Summer League. However, Cotton recently signed to play in Turkey.
