Hawks preseason game will have Howard back in Orlando

Another Hawks exhibition opponent came to light Monday with the release of the Magic’s preseason schedule.

The Hawks will play at the Magic on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. The game will be a return to Orlando for new Hawks center Dwight Howard, who spent his first eight NBA seasons there after being the No. 1 overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft.

The Hawks are also scheduled to play at the Grizzlies on Oct. 6 and versus the Bulls on Oct. 20 in Omaha. The release of the Hawks’ full preseason schedule could come this week.
