For a second time this season, SportSouth got its highest rating ever for a regular-season Hawks game.

Monday’s loss to the Pelicans, which snapped the Hawks’ 19-game win streak, generated a 4.7 rating in the Atlanta market, according to the network. That bested the 4.5 rating for the Jan. 23 game against the Thunder.

Overall, Hawks television ratings in the Atlanta market are up 73 percent over the first 45 games of last season, according to the network.

“It’s difficult to be too disappointed when the Hawks’ 19 game winning streak comes to an end and the team has won 33 of its last 36,” said Jeff Genthner, FOX Sports South senior vice president and general manager in a statement. “There are a lot of games left in this amazing season for Hawks fans to rally around, and every remaining regular season match-up will be on SportSouth.”

During the 19-game win streak the average rating for a Hawks game was 2.5, up 29 percent since the last loss Dec. 26. In addition, the average rating of 2.7 for January was the highest-rated month ever on the network for the Hawks.
