Kyle Korver enters tonight’s game against the Pistons three 3-pointers shy of surpassing Tim Hardaway for 18th on the NBA’s all-time list. Coincidentally, Hardaway is an assistant coach with the Pistons.

Korver is also seven 3-pointers away from moving ahead of Eddie Jones and into 17th place.

Korver said Friday morning that he doesn’t pay much attention to where he stands.

“Those aren’t really thoughts that go through my head,” Korver said. “I just try to make the next one. … I don’t like to look at it (historically) because I feel like there are still a lot of games to be played. I’d like to play for a while still. Obviously, when it’s all said and done and you look at your body of work you want to be proud of it and give it your all. When that day comes, we’ll talk again.”

Korver is currently second in 3-point field goal percentage in the NBA this season at .561 (32 of 57). He trails only the Grizzlies’ Courtney Lee at .621 (18 of 29).
