Hawks to hold minicamp in Las Vegas
The Hawks’ summer league roster will gather in Las Vegas Wednesday for a minicamp in advance of the tournament.
The team will practice three days prior to their first game Saturday against the Wizards. The Hawks also have scheduled games against the D-League Sunday and the Trail Blazers next Tuesday. They are guaranteed at least two more games after the preliminary round of the tournament.
The complete summer league roster will likely be released Tuesday. On the roster are expected to be John Jenkins, Dennis Schroder, Mike Muscala, Adreian Payne, Lamar Patterson, Eric Dawson, Travis Wear, Casey Prather, Trevor Releford, Stephen Holt and Michael Bramos. Second-round pick Walter Tavares could also compete. Darvin Ham is expected to coach the team.
