What they said after the Hawks’ 104-95 overtime loss to the Celtics Sunday:

"You know, a lot of swings in momentum. A couple big plays at the end by Jeff Teague. Then in overtime, obviously I think they made a couple shots, made a couple plays and we just didn't have it down the stretch especially in overtime. But, you know at times obviously, Paul Millsap had a monster game and his force and the way he played was great. I just think we needed a little bit more with him, collectively from all of us, a little more to help Paul tonight. But, its 2-2, they responded to being down 2-0 and now we got to go home and respond." - Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer's opening statement

"Just put an emphasis on being aggressive, I felt like I wasn't aggressive in the first three games and especially on the road, your backs against the wall you got to be aggressive. So, I just wanted to do that tonight and set a tone that way." - Paul Millsap on 45-point game

"They got us out of whack. They put Marcus Smart on Paul (Millsap) and we just tried to force it to him and at times took us out of what we had been doing. Give them credit. They played really well and made some plays down the stretch. They really fed off the crowd here, and we'll go home and plan on coming back." - Kyle Korver on overtime

"He was our offense. … His performance was amazing. That Paul Millsap right there was pretty awesome. He was in a funk the first couple of games. We knew that he was due to explode. It was good to see. That was the only positive out of this game." - Al Horford on Millsap

"The ball slipped out of my hands." - Jeff Teague on final possession of overtime

"Well, he guarded Millsap the last thirteen minutes of the game, including overtime, probably; maybe the last eight minutes of the fourth quarter. Obviously you're throwing darts a little bit with a guy that's rolling like that. But one thing about that is, when you've scored 45 through three quarters you probably are a little winded. So he probably got to guard him at a good time, but he still fought quite well." - Celtics coach Brad Stevens on defending Millsap with Smart

"The most important thing for us we got to start the games better especially on the road; start the games better, start the halves better and I think that will put us in a position to be able to win those games. If we start just halfway decent on the road we'll be alright. The first two games we started horrible and game 1 we were still in game and gave ourselves a chance to win but game 2 it was tough to get back into the game. I think if we just start halfway decent we'll be ok and that's huge especially on the road against a good team like Atlanta." - Thomas on playing on the road
