Tuesday’s Hawks versus Celtics game drew the highest average game rating of the season on SportSouth, according to the network.

The game, in which the Hawks came back from a 23-point deficit to win 109-105, had a 2.0 rating, meaning it was viewed by more than 48,000 households in Atlanta. The telecast had a peak rating of 3.0 during the 9:30 p.m. quarter hour.

According to SportSouth, Hawks’ viewership is up 20 percent through 16 games from last season’s final average in the Atlanta market.

The Hawks are currently 10-6 and in third place in the Eastern Conference.
