The Hawks assigned Mike Muscala to Fort Wayne of the NBA Development League Saturday.
The center will play one game before re-joining the Hawks in Memphis for Sunday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Fort Wayne plays at Iowa at 8 p.m. Saturday.
Muscala has not played in eight of the Hawks’ past 11 games. In his last three appearances, he has played a total of 11 minutes and scored eight points. In 26 games, Muscala is averaging 3.9 points and 2.1 rebounds.
The brief stint is another chance to get playing time for Muscala. He has played four D-League games, in three previous stints, this season and averaged 15.0 points, 9.0 rebounds 1.3 assists, and 1.0 assists in 28.8 minutes.
