Former Hawks lottery pick to receive $400K alimony payment

Former Hawks lottery pick Shelden Williams will reportedly receive $400,000 in alimony in his divorce settlement, according to TMZ Sports.
Williams, the No. 5 overall pick in the 2006 NBA draft by the Hawks, filed for divorce in 2017 from WNBA superstar Candace Parker. The couple wed in 2008 and although Williams reportedly earned more than $12 million during his NBA career, Parker has reportedly earned significantly more during her professional career - including endorsements and a lengthy career overseas.
