The NBA has fined Philadelphia center Joel Embiid $25,000 after he flipped off Kevin Huerter in the final seconds of the Sixers' 129-112 win vs. the Hawks Monday.

Embiid also cursed in a live television interview with NBC Sports Philadelphia after the game, when talking about where he stacks up with the best players in the world and around the league.

Embiid had a career-high 49 points in the win. He grabbed a rebound with 17.9 seconds to play in the fourth and could have broken the 50-point threshold when Huerter stole the ball from him and kept playing, despite the clock winding down in a blowout loss.

The fine also reflects his “multiple prior violations of acceptable on-court decorum,” the league said in a news release.
