The Hawks made a late change to their starting lineup before Saturday’s game against the Magic by inserting Malcolm Delaney for Dennis Schroder minutes before tipoff.

The move was described as a coach’s decision. Schroder will play but just come off the bench.

Schroder was suspended for Friday’s game against the Heat after he failed to return to the team on time following the All-Star break. Schroder did not bring his visa for his trip to his native Germany. He missed practices Wednesday and Thursday.

Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said before the game that Schroder would start. However, the decision was later made to start Delaney.
