Five things we learned about the Hawks Wednesday:

1.Ryan Kelly was not with the team for the game against the Knicks due to personal reasons. He and Tiago Splitter (right calf injury) are inactives.

2. Tim Hardaway Jr. was expected to play after missing two games with a right groin injury. He warmed up prior to the game and coach Mike Budenholzer said he was hopeful with reserve guard would play.

3. Paul Millsap is still sporting a swollen and bruised right eye courtesy of an elbow in Monday's game at the Timberwolves. The power forward said his vision was not affected.

4. Dwight Howard is shooting .830 from the field (44 of 53) over his past six games and averaging 18.3 points and 15.0 rebounds.

5. The Knicks will present a height problem for the Hawks with Carmelo Anthony (6-8) and the small forward, Kristaps Porzingis (7-3) at power forward and Joakim Noah (6-11) at center. "They do have a unique 4-3 combo with those two guys," Budenholzer said of Porzingis and Anthony. "We'll have our hands full."
