Tim Hardaway Jr. has struggled offensively during the preseason.

His coach is not concerned. It’s early.

In his three exhibition games, Hardaway is 3 of 30 (.100) from the field. He is also 0 of 11 from 3-point range.

By all accounts, Hardaway had an excellent offseason. He is working to find a spot in the Hawks’ wing rotation.

“Timmy is such a conscientious and had-working (player),” Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Saturday. “My only real concern is that he just relaxes and flushes it out. He’s had a great summer. We are extremely confident in him. But he is one of those guys who wants to be good. He’s so diligent and conscientious.

“I think he is taking good shots, getting good shots. I think he’s going to be fine.”
