Free agent swingman Kent Bazemore met with the Hawks in Atlanta on Monday. However, no deal is imminent.

Bazemore has reportedly drawn interest in several other teams and has additional visits scheduled.

Bazemore tweeted, “The suspense … !!” on Monday afternoon. He later tweeted that he would be flying “to the Bay.”

The 6-foot-5 guard/forward became an unrestricted free agent when the Lakers did not make him a $1.1 million qualifying offer last month. Bazemore, who is recovering from April foot surgery, was obtained in a trade-deadline deal from the Warriors in February.

Last season, his second in the NBA out of Old Dominion, he combined to average 6.0 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists.

Deng still on radar: The Hawks continue to have interest in unrestricted free agent Luol Deng. However, the forward has received interest from several other teams and may command a significant salary on the open market.

The Hawks have approximately $11.5 million in salary cap space.

Hawks to hold minicamp: The Hawks' summer league roster will gather in Las Vegas on Wednesday for a minicamp in advance of the tournament.

The team will practice three days prior to their first game Saturday against the Wizards. The Hawks also have scheduled games against the D-League on Sunday and the Trail Blazers next Tuesday. They are guaranteed at least two more games after the preliminary round of the tournament.

The complete summer league roster will likely be released Tuesday. On the roster are expected to be John Jenkins, Dennis Schroder, Mike Muscala, Adreian Payne, Lamar Patterson, Eric Dawson, Travis Wear, Casey Prather, Trevor Releford, Stephen Holt and Michael Bramos. Second-round pick Walter Tavares could also compete. Darvin Ham is expected to coach the team.

Nogueira in summer league: Lucas Nogueira, traded to Toronto as part of the Lou Williams trade last week, will play for the Raptors in the upcoming Las Vegas Summer League.

The Hawks sent the rights to the 2013 first-round draft pick with Williams in the deal that brought back John Salmons and a 2015 second-round pick. The Hawks will waive Salmons.

Nogueira, 20, played last season for Estudiantes in Spain’s ACB League. The 7-foot center from Brazil left the team for two months to come to the United States to rehab tendinitis in both knees.

The Raptors open their summer league schedule Friday against the Lakers.

Jazz hire Skeeter: The Jazz have hired Lamar Skeeter to work in their player development and video departments. Skeeter was a seasonal assistant in player development with the Hawks last season.

Skeeter will join new Jazz head coach Quin Snyder, who was an assistant with the Hawks last season.

Johnson has tryouts: Former Hawk and unrestricted free agent forward/center Ivan Johnson, has worked out for the Nets, Trail Blazers and Spurs. Johnson, a fan favorite in his two seasons in Atlanta, played part of last season in China before he was waived. He will play in the Las Vegas Summer League for the Mavericks, according to the roster released by the team Monday.
