So, about that slow start ...

Ronald Acuna seems to like hitting in the Denver air. He homered off German Marquez in the second inning Tuesday, after taking Kyle Freeland deep the day before.

Acuna’s shot Monday traveled to the second deck of the right-center seats. He second was planted in the center fountains beyond the 415’ mark.

“I don’t think the air mattered on that one,” catcher Tyler Flowers said of Acuna’s first long ball. “His approach is in a good spot. Those are the things he can do. He’s pretty special.”

The reigning rookie of the year has four homers on the season. This is his first series in Colorado.

The Braves led 1-0 after two innings.
