How to watch the Braves this weekend: Time, TV, starting pitchers April 19-22

Two roster moves made Thursday

The Braves are 10-7, and their 10th win came five games sooner than it did last season.

The Braves will meet the Mets for the first time this season when the teams begin a four-game series Thursday night at SunTrust Park.

After taking two of three games from the Phillies in the first series of a seven-game homestand, the Braves now draw the team with the best record in the National League entering Thursday. The Mets, though, are coming off a series loss to the Nationals at Citi Field.

The Braves dodged a bullet when the report on Freddie Freeman showed no fracture in his wrist that was hit by a pitch Wednesday night. The other Braves injury news of note is that Anibal Sanchez injured his hamstring while running sprints pregame Wednesday. Matt Wisler will start Thursday in place of Sanchez. He was called up Thursday, and outfielder Lane Adams was designated for assignment.
