Jeff Francoeur must be happy to be out of El Paso.
The former Atlanta Braves right fielder was called up from Triple-A Chihuahuas on Wednesday by the San Diego Padres.
To celebrate his "triumphant" return to the majors, teammate Cody Decker released video of a masterful prank he pulled on Francoeur. In on the mischief is now Padres teammate Carlos Quentin, who was on rehab assignment in El Paso.

It appears Francoeur had been violating clubhouse rules and using the coaches' bathroom. So the team decided to lock him in. Using an extravagant pulley system the team left Francoeur stewing in the bathroom ... for an hour ... until resourceful "Frenchy" found his way out ... through the ceiling.
This wasn't the first time Francoeur fell for a Chihuahua jab. In April, he was let in on the now-famous video of the team's intricate prank in which they convinced him that teammate Jorge Reyes was deaf.
By the way, Francoeur went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in an 8-3 victory over the Cubs Wedneday night.
