Someone should remind Chipper Jones he works for the Braves.

The Braves' new special assistant appeared on MLB radio this week and spoke of the team's rebuilding, his new gig and his expectations for the season.

Jones explained he sees the Braves' rebuild will produce results soon, but not now. Without being prompted he told hosts the best franchise in baseball right now and his pick to win the World Series this season are the New York Mets.

Should come as no surprise. The longtime Brave chanted "Let's Go Mets" and rooted for the Metropolitans in last year's World Series.
