How the winning run scored: Leslie Anderson's one-out double in the top of the sixth inning, his 26th of the season, drove home Cole Figueroa and gave Durham a 2-0 lead over Gwinnett on Thursday night.
At the plate: Gwinnett leadoff hitter Jose Constanza (2-for-4) had half of his team's hits. He also had the G-Braves' first hit, a two-out single in the sixth. The G-Braves stranded runners on first and second in the ninth.
On the mound: Gwinnett starter Sean Gilmartin, in his first start since returning to the G-Braves on Wednesday after spending time on the disabled list, pitched five innings and allowed no runs on four hits.
Up next for Gwinnett: The G-Braves (54-73) are scheduled to conclude their Coolray Field series with Durham (77-49) at 6:05 p.m. Friday. Gwinnett right-hander Cody Martin (2-4, 3.97 ERA) is scheduled to start against righty Matt Buschmann (6-1, 2.95). The game is scheduled for a CSS telecast.
