Braves' opponent: Toronto Blue Jays

Keep an eye on: The bash brothers. Josh Donaldson is third in the American League with 38 home runs and first in the majors with 119 RBIs. Edwin Encarnacion is ninth in the American League with 32 home runs and fifth in the AL with 99 RBIs. Donaldson and Encarnacion each hit 10 or more home runs and drove in 35 or more runs in August, becoming the first teammates to do that in a calendar month since Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig did it in July of 1931. And oh yeah, Jose Bautista has 35 home runs (tied for fifth in the AL) and 101 RBIs, tied for third in the AL. Encarnacion sat out Sunday's game against New York with a sore hand but is expected back in the lineup Tuesday.

Who's hot: Ben Revere went 0-for-3 Sunday to snap an eight-game hitting streak over which he hit .455 (15-for-33) with a .500 on-base percentage, 10 runs scored and three stolen bases.

Who's not: Kevin Pillar is 3-for-22 (.136) over his past seven games.

Atlanta connection: Revere was born in Atlanta and raised in LaGrange, GA before he moved to Richmond, Kentucky. Revere was played drafted out of Lexington Catholic High School in the first round of the 2007 draft by the Minnesota Twins.

In the news: Shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, who collided with center fielder Pillar chasing down a pop-up Saturday, has a cracked left shoulder blade and is out for two to three weeks. The Blue Jays are hoping to have him back for the playoffs. The Blue Jays acquired Darwin Barney in a trade from the Dodgers to help shore up the middle infield in the meantime.
