Braves sign former NL MVP Howard to minor league contract

The Braves have signed former Phillies slugger Ryan Howard to a minor-league deal, according to the AJC’s David O’Brien.

Howard will report to extended spring training and then Triple-A Gwinnett when ready, O’Brien detailed on his Twitter account Thursday afternoon.
