The Braves officially signed first-round catcher Shea Langeliers, the team announced Wednesday.

The Baylor backstop hit .308/.374/.530 in 44 games during his junior season. A few days before the draft, Langeliers hit three homers and knocked in 11 runs against Omaha in the NCAA Tournament.

Langeliers’ deal is reportedly worth $4 million, saving the Braves roughly $1 million below slot value.

The Braves also signed infielders Brade Shewmake (21st overall) and Beau Philip (60th). Outfielder Michael Harris (98th) also signed, meaning their first four picks have inked deals.
