How the winning run scored: Ernesto Mejia's sacrifice fly with one out in the seventh inning drove home Jose Constanza and gave the visiting Gwinnett Braves a 5-4 lead Wednesday night.

At the plate: Mejia drove in four runs, one with a leadoff homer in the fourth inning, two more with a two-out double in the fifth and one with the sac fly in the seventh. Joey Terdoslavich was 3-for-3 and drove in a run, also with a sac fly in seventh. Jason Heyward continued his rehab stint. He played right field and was 1-for-3 (a single) with a walk, a run scored and a strikeout.

On the mound: G-Braves starter Tim Corcoran pitched 5 2/3 innings. He gave up four runs on seven hits and three walks, and he struck out six.

Up next for Gwinnett: The G-Braves (15-26) and the Red Sox (24-16) meet for the third game of their four-game series at 7:05 p.m. Thursday in Pawtucket, R.I. Right-hander Omar Poveda (2-2, 2.56 ERA) is scheduled to start for Gwinnett.
