The Braves have no timetable for the returns of starter Mike Soroka and reliever Jose Ramirez.

Ramirez was placed on the disabled list April 18 with shoulder inflammation. He was shut down after two abysmal outings in which Ramirez allowed nine runs and walked five in 1-1/3 innings.

He has a 17.05 ERA in 6-1/3 innings this season. But he had a 3.19 ERA in 62 innings last season.

Ramirez recently threw roughly 20 pitches off the mound at extended spring training in Florida and feels good, according to manager Brian Snitker. He could pitch in an extended spring game soon.

“Everything is headed in the right direction with him,” Snitker said. “If we get him back to where he was, it’d be really good.”

As for Soroka, the Braves haven’t scheduled his rehab start. He was placed on the DL on May 17 with a right shoulder strain after accumulating a 3.68 ERA across his first three major-league starts.

The team hopes he can throw on the mound Friday, but will carry a conservative approach.

“We’re not timetabling him,” Snitker said. “He played catch, he feels really good.”
