How the winning run scored: Joe Leonard's two out single scored Alden Carrithers from second and Philip Gosselin followed from first with what would be the winning run because of a fielding error on the play by right fielder Chris Gimenez of the Bulls (73-43).

At the plate: G-Braves (49-66) had five hits, four singles and a double. Jordan Schafer in his second injury rehab game in Gwinett was 0-for-3 with a walk and an rbi when his third inning ground out scored Sean Kazmar who had a lead off double, his 14th, and took third on a wild pitch.

On the mound: Starter Yohan Flande (7-6, 4.42) gave up one run on three hits with eight strikeouts and no walks in eight innings to earn a win in his third straight start. Ryan Buchter (3.66) got his fourth save when he struck out the side after giving up a lead off walk in the ninth.

What's next for the G-Braves: The G-Braves begin a five game series against the Norfolk Tides (59-56) with two Monday beginning at 6:05 p.m, which Monday includes a make up of a July 2 rain out. They begin an eight game home stand Friday.
