Atlanta United traded Tyler Wolff to Real Salt Lake in exchange for $50,000 in General Allocation Money for 2026 on Monday, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.

The club is still negotiating with fullback Ronald Hernandez and striker Jamal Thiare, whose contract options were declined.

Wolff, 21 years old and a native of Snellville, signed with Atlanta United as a Homegrown. He made 53 appearances with six goals and two assists in regular-season matches. He had guaranteed compensation of $154,500 last season.

Atlanta United’s remaining Homegrowns are midfielder Jay Fortune, winger Luke Brennan, centerbacks Noah Cobb and Efrain Morales, fullback Matthew Edwards and striker Ashton Edwards.

Monday was the half-day trade window in MLS. San Diego’s expansion draft is scheduled for Wednesday. The list of each team’s protected players will be released by the league on Tuesday. Free agency opens on Thursday.
