Atlanta United has re-signed goalkeeper Alec Kann.

Kann, a 29-year-old Atlanta native, will join the squad for the fourth consecutive season. Kann has made 19 starts in MLS games for Atlanta United. He also started Atlanta United’s win against Club America in the Campeones Cup. Kann was selected by the team in the expansion draft before the 2017 season. Kann spent three season with Chicago and one with Sporting KC before joining Atlanta United.

Kann wasn’t a free agent, so Atlanta United has one more free-agent signing it can make.

With Kann, Atlanta United has three goalkeepers, including starter Brad Guzan and Brendan Moore.

Kann played in high school at Lakeside before signing with Furman.
