Four Atlanta United players have been placed on provisional rosters for this summer’s Concacaf Gold Cup.

Goalkeeper Brad Guzan, midfielder Darlington Nagbe and defender Miles Robinson were selected to the U.S. squad for the Concacaf Gold Cup.  Atlanta United forward Romario Williams was selected for his native Jamaica.

The 40-man preliminary rosters will be trimmed to 23 before the 16 participating nations from North America, Central America and the Caribbean begin play next month.

The 15th edition of the continental championship will be played in 17 stadiums — eight of which are in contention to become a 2026 FIFA World Cup venue — along with first-time matches in Costa Rica and Jamaica.

The U.S., led by manager Gregg Berhalter, will begin their title defense June 18 (9:30 p.m.) in Minnesota’s Allianz Field against Guyana, who will be making their Gold Cup debut. The Americans will face Trinindad & Tobago at 7:30 p.m. June 22 in Cleveland, and Panama at 8:30 p.m. June 26 in Kansas City to close out the first round.

Guzan participated in the 2017 tournament. Defender Greg Garza was named to the 40-man roster then, but did not play.

William’s Jamaica team will face Honduras (June 17), El Salvador (June 21) and Curacao (June 25).

The champion will be decided July 7 in Chicago’s Soldier Field.
