Because Atlanta United has used its seven international slots, Oliver Shannon and Jose Hernandez are listed as "Unavailable" on the team's roster on mlssoccer.com. They are two of four players, along with Gordon Wild and Patrick Okonkwo, who have received that designation.

Okonkwo, a Homegrown Signing, is on loan with Charleston in the USL. Wild, selected in this year’s SuperDraft, is also on loan with the Battery.

Though Shannon and Hernandez are listed as unavailable, they can train with either Atlanta United or its USL team, Atlanta United 2. Should either player be needed for a game with the first team, for example, it would need to clear an international slot by temporarily moving one of the players occupying one of those slots to Atlanta United 2’s roster.

Shannon, also selected in this year’s SuperDraft, played in Atlanta United 2’s inaugural game last week. Hernandez is recovering from an injury.
