Atlanta United goalkeeper Brad Guzan was one of 27 players called into the U.S. men’s soccer team’s training camp ahead of three matches in June.
Guzan has yet to train or play with Atlanta United. His season with Middlesbrough in the England’s Premier League ended last week. He will join the team in late June, but can’t play until the MLS summer transfer window opens on July 10.
Players will report on May 28 in Denver to start preparing for a friendly against Venezuela on June 3 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Salt Lake City, followed by a World Cup qualifying game against Trinidad and Tobago on June 8 in Commerce City, Colo. and another agaisnt Mexico on June 11 in Mexico City.
Guzan has 53 caps with the U.S. men’s national team.
