Kevin Kratz will join Atlanta United pending a trade agreement with Philadelphia that can’t be ratified until the MLS trade window opens on Dec. 11.

Kratz signed with the Union on Sept. 15. He is listed in the database released by the players union with a salary of $76,758.

Like many of the players that Atlanta United has signed, Kratz can be used at different positions across the midfield. A native of Germany, he played for Bayer Leverkusen II from 2006-09.

Atlanta United has eight players that it has announced: goalkeeper Alex Tambakis, midfielders Chris McCann, Junior Burgos, Andrew Carleton and Hector Villalba, forwards Kenwyne Jones, Jeffrey Otoo and Chris Goslin.

It was originally reported that Kratz had signed with Atlanta United and was on loan to Philadelphia.
