Atlanta United manager Gerardo Martino was caught on camera saying an expletive - the F-word - toward D.C. United’s bench during Sunday’s 3-1 loss at Audi Field.

Martino said members of both team’s benches began arguing with each other after Miguel Almiron was fouled near midfield. The foul prevented a breakaway and resulted in a yellow card being given to Junior Moreno in the 73rd minute. Martino said he told D.C. United’s staff to talk to their coach, Ben Olsen. He said that’s when a member of D.C. United’s staff cussed at him with the F-word.. So he responded, saying he added the additional, “too.”

Fox Sports 1 acknowledged that the expletive could be heard on its broadcast and apologized.
