Atlanta United forward Kenwyne Jones sustained a minor ligament tear in his knee while playing for the Trinidad and Tobago national soccer team.
Jones said in a statement from his public relations firm that he should be able to return for Trinidad and Tobago’s next game against Costa Rica on Nov. 11 in hexagonal play for World Cup qualifying.
Jones is one of eight players Atlanta United has signed. He formerly played for several teams in England’s Premier League.
