Atlanta United manager Gerardo Martino on Tuesday said that injured players Kenwyne Jones, Joseph Peterson and Alec Kann are progressing.

Peterson, a midfielder who hasn’t played since the season’s fourth game at Seattle after sustaining an ankle injury, has returned to training with the team. Martino indicated that he will need another week of training to become considered to be selected for a game-day 18.

Martino said Jones, who suffered a knee injury while playing with the Trinidad and Tobago national team, was doing well. Jones,a forward, hasn’t resumed training with the team.

Kann, a goalkeeper and native of Decatur, suffered a quad injury in the 2-0 win at Columbus two games ago. He is expected to miss several more weeks.

Atlanta United will play at Orlando City on Friday.
