Atlanta United’s Franco Escobar will partner with the team’s esports player, Paulo Neto, in an EA Sports FIFA tournament sponsored by Fox Sports.

Escobar will take on Orlando’s Nani in a video-game battle that will be televised at 7 p.m. May 10 on FS1 and Fox Deportes. Neto will play Orlando’s esports player, Abe Valbuena. Each match is two legs. The best aggregate score will advance.

After each game,  MLS Works and Fox Sports will make a donation on behalf of the winning club to to Feeding America to help with COVID-19 relief efforts.

Other MLS players who will compete: LA Galaxy’s Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez, LAFC’s Adama Diomande, Chicago Fire’s Francisco Calvo, FC Cincinnati’s Kendall Waston, D.C. United’s Paul Arriola, New England Revolution’s Diego Fagundez, Minnesota United’s Tyler Miller, Sporting Kansas City’s Wan Kuzain, New York Red Bulls’ Aaron Long, NYCFC’s Sean Johnson, FC Dallas’ Fafa Picault, Houston Dynamo’s Memo Rodriguez, Vancouver Whitecaps’ Erik Godoy and Toronto FC’s Marky Delgado.

The series will start April 19. It will be hosted by Fox Sports Stu Holden, Rachel Bonnetta and Rodolfo Landeros, with commentary from Mike LaBelle.
