Atlanta United now has the second highest probability to win the MLS Cup, according to the website FiveThirtyEight.com.

Following its 7-0 drilling of New England on Wednesday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the team's end-of-season probability to win the championship increased three percentage points to nine percent from the six percent it had on Sept. 10. Toronto's probability is currently the highest at 35 percent.

The website also calculated Atlanta United's probability of earning a first-round bye in the playoffs at 32 percent, an increase of 13 percentage points from last week.
