The city of Atlanta registered a 21.0 metered market rating during Monday night’s NBA Finals game— becoming the fifth-highest rated market for Game 5.

Atlanta’s ratings trailed the San Francisco-Oakland area (39.6), Cleveland (37.1), Columbus (23.3) and Sacramento (21.2).

Monday night’s Game 5 was the highest rated Game 5 since Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls met the Utah Jazz in 1998. Game 5 ratings were up 13 percent in 2017 from the first two matchups between the Warriors and the Cavaliers in 2015 and 2016.

Monday’s Game 5 was also the second-most streamed NBA game of all time generating an average audience of 537,000 viewers per minute. Game 7 in 2016 between the Warriors and Cavaliers is the only other live streamed game to have a bigger audience.
