Quarterback Feleipe Franks, running back Wayne Gallman, cornerback Darren Hall, wide receiver Frank Darby and defensive lineman Ta’Quon Graham will be inactive for the Falcons on Sunday.
Quarterback Gardner Minshew, safety Rodney McLeod, cornerback Mac McCain, linebacker Davion Taylor and offensive lineman Landon Dickerson will be inactive for the Eagles.
The Eagles (4-11-1 in 2020) and the Falcons (4-12) are set to open the season with first-year head coaches in Nick Sirianni and Arthur Smith.
The meeting will mark the fifth time two coaches make their head coaching debuts against each other in Week 1 over the past 30 seasons and the first since 2014. Houston’s Bill O’Brien faced Washington’s Jay Gruden on Sept. 7, 2014
