Falcons name their captains for 2022
FLOWERY BRANCH -- During the exhibition games last month, defensive tackle Grady Jarrett and left tackle Jake Matthews handled the coin toss duties as Falcons team captains.
In addition to Jarrett and Matthews, quarterback Marcus Mariota, cornerback A.J. Terrell and kicker Younghoe Koo were named captains for the 2022 season by the Falcons on Saturday.
The group will be joined by one additional captain on a game-by-game basis.
