MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. --- Most of the Falcons dressed out and went through warmups, but did not start in the exhibition opener against the Miami Dolphins on Friday at Hard Rock Stadium.

Before kickoff, the Dolphins announced that 31 players, including quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, were not expected to play.

The Falcons opened the game with reserves on defense and offense.

Logan Woodside, who’s listed as the third quarterback on the team’s depth chart, started the game for the Falcons.
